Many programs that can be scan for malware using a database of known malware definitions. These malware definitions tell what the malware does and how to works and then also recognize it. If the anti-malware program detects a file that matches the definition, it will flag it as potential malware. This is a good way to remove known threats, but it does require regular updates to make sure the program does not miss out on newly developed malware.

  1. First, open the  Google search Malwarebytes website.
  2. Click the  Free Download. Automatically redirected to another page, and they should be download.
  3. Click “Run” button if you see a dialogue box at the bottom of your browser window asking if you want to save or run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
  4. Choose the language of your choice and click OK when the Select Setup Language dialogue box will appear.
  5. Click Next button, when you see the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Setup Wizard window.
  6. Select the I accept the agreement button and then click Next when you see the License Agreement dialogue box.
  7. Click  Next when you see the Setup dialogue box, after that Select Destination Location and then also Select Start Menu Folder dialogue box.
  8. Click Install the app Ready to Install dialogue box.
  9. Click Finished in the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Setup Wizard window after installation is complete.
  10.  Anti-malware (AM) detects bad software is a form of analysis is known as heuristics. An alternative to database scanning, the heuristic analysis allows anti-malware programs to detect threats that were not previously discovered.
